Happy Hump Day! We are so close to the long weekend. There are only a few days left to make plans for Memorial Day 2017. Today's post is all about Memorial Day fashion and what you should be wearing.

Who doesn't love Memorial Day? It is the unofficial start of summer, we get a day off from work, the pools open, there are a million sales going on and we get to start wearing white pants again! Woo hoo for white pants! Before you start your Memorial Day BBQ outfit prep, check out some of our very own favorites to get your ready for any Memorial Day festivity you will be attending this weekend.

It can be hard to wear red, white and blue and not look cheesy like those Old Navy shirts your mom used to make you wear on the 4th of July when you were younger. Below are 3 looks to incorporate red, white and blue while staying on trend and looking fab!

BBQ Picnic Look

1. Layered Floral Lace and Stripe Top
Nothing says summer BBQ like a cute little white tank. Add some spice to your Memorial Day look with this flirty lace number. Throw on your favorite, summer denim cut offs, block heel wedges and a swipe of red lipstick for a put together, summer outfit with a patriotic twist.

2. Half Sleeve Varsity Tee- Ruby
This look is a little more sporty and casual. Throw on a baseball hat, your favorite sneakers and shorts for a casual look that encompasses style and comfort. This top is easy fitting with the most comfortable fabric. It will be perfect for a nap on the couch after you stuff your face with hamburgers, hot dogs and potato salad.

Beach Bonfire Vacay Look

1. Tie Front Embroidered Peasant Top
Make a beachy, put together statement with this embroidered detail top. This look is great to throw over your swimsuit, slide on some jeans and get to roasting those marshmallows and telling stories around the fire. This look pairs perfectly with dainty, gold jewelry and strappy sandals. Hop on this embroidered trend ASAP. Good news, this top is on sale over at bbstyled.com.

2. Boho Fringe Swing Tank- Red
You may have seen this. before, but it is too good to not talk about again. This boho swing tank has us dreaming of the desert. This tank will bring out your boho side and remain the perfect tank for your sandy destination and summer night bonfires. The accent of reds keep it on trend and perfectly appropriate to show your patriotic side for Memorial Day celebrations.

Relaxing By The Pool Look

1. Halter One Piece Swimsuit
Last but not least, our pool day look. It wouldn't be Memorial Day if you didn't take a dip in the pool. This is what we have been waiting all winter for. Our cute swimsuits are about to make another appearance on the blog because we can't get enough.  This red one is the perfect color to wear all summer. You can even pull it back out for the 4th of July so grab your pool floaties and get ready for those Memorial Day tan lines.

2. T Back Pocket Tee
This short sleeve look can be dressed up or down to suit the mood. For a pool day, throw on a floppy, straw hat, a denim skirt and your go to flip flops. The T Back detail allows for you to show off that cute swimmer. Basic tees for the win!

That is all for today. BB Styled wishes you a fabulous, fun and safe Memorial Day weekend. Make sure to check in on Friday for this week's Style Steal. Hint hint... it will be boho love at first sight.
